Elon Musk's Starlink has moved a step closer to its commercial launch in India by placing full residential pricing on its local website.
The updated page shows the monthly charge at ₹8,600. Reportedly, customers are also required to buy a hardware kit priced at ₹34,000 as a one-time purchase. The plan comes with unlimited data and a 30-day trial window to allow new users enough time to test how the service performs in their area.
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation being constructed by SpaceX, aimed at providing high-speed internet access globally, particularly in underserved and remote areas. The constellation operates by deploying thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), enabling low-latency internet connectivity.
