Poco M8 Power key specifications
The POCO M8 Power 5G has the brand's first Ultra-large OLED display of 6.99-inches. The screen's resolution is 2396x1080, its peak brightness is 1,800 nits, and it has a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display supports DCI-P3 wide color gamut and has a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1. To improve user interaction, it has 240Hz in-display touch sampling, and has fingerprint recognition .
The phone comes in 3 colour options – Blaze orange, black and green.
It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4nm mobile processor under the hood. With an AnTuTu score of more than 630,000+, the chipset is capable of robust everyday multi-tasking and power-efficient performance. POCO has used a large 10,416 sq mm graphite dissipation area to ensure thermals are kept under control during prolonged sessions.
One of the main features of the device is its 8,000mAh silicone carbon battery. The high capacity Silicon-Carbon battery is powered by Xiaomi's Surge G1 Battery Management Chip for reliable all-day performance, the company claimed. POCO offers up to 3 days of playtime per charge. Official battery endurance metrics indicate that this is the case. It also enables 45W wired fast charging (charging cable included in the box) and 22.5W wired charging in reverse to charge accessories or secondary devices when you are on the move.
It is preloaded with Xiaomi HyperOS over Android 16 and will offer regular system software updates for extended usability, POCO says. It offers 4 generations of Android OS updates and 6 years of security updates.
The POCO M8 Power 5G is equipped with a primary 50MP AI camera with intelligent scene detection that automatically adjusts camera settings based on different shooting scenes. It has an 8MP front camera for taking selfies and video calls. The camera suite features dedicated AI Photography modes for better low-light shots, portrait Bokeh as well as improved color dynamic range. Even with its 8,000mAh battery, the phone has a sleek design, featuring a metallic middle frame and a high-quality matte back.
The front glass is treated with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection while the device is certified as IP64, which protects it against daily splashes and spills.
