the Realme 16 Pro Harry Potter Edition became official today, September 21, and it's Realme's second Warner Bros. collaboration after last year's Realme 15 Pro Game of Thrones edition.
Design
- The back is a textured brown panel with an argyle pattern inspired by the Wizard's Chess scene, and the Hogwarts crest sits in the center. Under UV light the crest shows all four house colors at once.
- The camera deco is a metal mirror design that resembles Hedwig the owl, and "Welcome to Hogwarts" is engraved on the frame.
- It has a custom Hogwarts-themed interface with themed logos, fonts, icons, and Easter eggs.

- Relame 16 pro launch price lists INR 62,999 in India, with sales starting tomorrow. Confirm the price and sale date on Realme's site or the retailer page, because I only found one source for the figure.
- The limited gift box is capped at 5,000 units worldwide. It includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter, a Platform 9¾ ticket, bookmarks, character postcards, a custom case, and a SIM ejector. A launch-day report also mentions Realme Buds T500 Pro Harry Potter Edition earbuds, sold alongside the phone.
Some sources disagree on details. Realme's event page lists a Snapdragon chip for the 16 Pro line, while news coverage of this edition says Dimensity 7300-Max, and one video title says 6,500mAh. Go by the launch coverage and Realme's final spec sheet.
verdict: it's a collector's item, not a value pick. The phone inside is the standard Realme 16 Pro, so the extra money goes to the design, the Hogwarts-themed software, and the gift box.
What you pay
- It costs ₹62,999 for a single 12GB + 256GB variant in Magic Brown. One site lists ₹56,699, but it's the only one, so I'd ignore it.
- Realme frames the price as 30% below a listed ₹89,999. That list price is a marketing number, not what the phone sells for.
- The standard 16 Pro's 12GB/256GB model launched in January at ₹36,999. One retailer site says it now sells for around ₹44,999. That puts the premium at roughly ₹18,000 to ₹26,000. Check Flipkart for the current price.
- Launch offers: 10% instant off on partner bank cards, 12-month no-interest EMI from ₹4,724, and the first sale on September 22 at 12 PM.
- You're a serious Harry Potter fan and want the trunk-style box with the acceptance letter, Platform 9¾ ticket, and collectible extras.
- You'll enjoy the UV-reactive crest that shows all four house colors, and the themed lock screens, icons, and camera filters.
- You're fine with mid-range hardware and see this as a display piece.
Skip it if
- You want the most performance and camera for your money. The standard 16 Pro has identical specs for less.
- For about the same price, the 16 Pro+ launched at ₹44,999 for 12GB/256GB with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera.
What's solid: the 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, the 200MP main camera, and the 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging. Realme also promised 3 years of OS upgrades for the 16 Pro series at launch.
Caveats: it launched today, so there are no independent reviews yet. Battery life, heat, and camera quality are based on the standard 16 Pro's specs. The limited run is 5,000 units worldwide, but collector value or resale demand isn't guaranteed.
Are you buying this to use every day or to collect? That decides whether the premium is worth it.
